dc.description.abstract The aim of the research is to determine the epizootology of the main helminthiases of cattle in the steppe, semi - desert and desert zones of the West Kazakhstan region in different seasons of the year for different age groups. For the first time, a comparative analysis of the invasion of cattle by the main types of helminths in the steppe, semi - desert and desert zones of the West Kazakhstan region, as well as the seasonal and age dynamics of the invasion of animals by helminths in these zones was carried out. The infestation of cattle by helminths was determined according to Fülleborn. Identification of strongylates before genus was carried out according to P.F. Polyakov and helminthological autopsy according to K.I. Skryabin. The calves were washed out of the conjunctival sac with a boric acid solution. To detect cysts of larvaceous cestodosis, parenchymal organs were examined. In the West Kazakhstan region, the extensiveness of invasion by the main types of helminths in cattle was: Moniezia expansa - 14.2 percent, Echinococcus granulosus (larvae) - 35.8 percent, Nematodirus spp... ru
